At the Mental Health Association in Forsyth County we offer a variety of FREE, confidential support groups. Our groups are led by trained facilitators in a safe, friendly environment at MHA
1509 S. Hawthorne Rd. Winston Salem, NC 27103.

Learning by exchanging information to help you better understand what you are going through.

Developing informal support systems to help you cope during your time in need.
How do you join our support groups?
Just show up!
There is no formal sign up process and all are welcome!
What Support Groups do We Offer for Adults?
This support group is for adults with mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. TIDES meets every Friday morning at 10:30 am until 12:00 pm AND every 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening every month at 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
ANXIETY DISORDERS SUPPORT
This support group is for adults with anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, OCD, PTSD, etc. This group meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday evening of each month at 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
This support group is for adults with schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorders. This group meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday afternoon of each month at 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm.
This group is for young adults (ages 18 to 30) with any mental health issue. The THRIVE young adult group meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening each month at 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
